...across the room to share.....

I just have to post the words to this song I just came across.  This week started off a little on the rough side for me and then I came across these words that spoke directly to my heart.  May they bless you today as well!

                          Trust His Heart
All things work for our good, though sometimes we can't see how they could.
Struggles that break our hearts in two sometimes blind us to the truth.
Our Father knows what's best for us; His ways are not our own.
So, when your pathway grows dim, and you just can't see Him,
Remember, He's still on the throne.

God is too wise to be mistaken.
God is too good to be unkind.
So when you don't understand,
when you don't see His plan,
When you can't trace His hand, trust His heart.

He sees the Master plan.  He holds the future in His hands.
So don't live as those who have no hope.  All our hope is found in Him.
We walk in present knowledge, but He sees the first and the last.
And like a tapestry, He's weaving you and me to someday be just like Him.

God is too wise to be mistaken.
God is too good to be unkind.
So when you don't understand,
when you don't see His plan,
When you can't trace His hand, trust His heart.

Wow, that reminds me so much of the song in that Joseph King of Dreams movie! I was hit too that God knows better than we do, he has it all under his control and we just need to trust in him and where he is leading us.
Here's the lyrics...

I thought I did was right
I thought I had the answer
I thought I chose the surest road
But that road brought me here
So I put up a fight
And told You how to help me
And just when I had given up
The truth is coming clear

You know better than I
You know the way
I've let go the need to know why
For You know better than I

If this has been a test
I cannot see the reason
But maybe knowing I don't know
Is part of getting through
I try to do what's best
And faith has made it easy
To see the best thing I can do
Is put my trust in You, for...

I saw one cloud, and thought it was the sky
I saw a bird and thought that I could follow
But it was You who taught that bird to fly
If I let you reach me
Will you teach me? For...

You know better than I
You know the way
I've let go the need to know why
I'll take what answers You supply
You know better than I....

Keep looking UP! I love you!

Hi Ollie...I'm so glad you have experienced first hand those words! Every time we go through a difficult period we have the opportunity to learn to trust God a little bit more than the last time. When we look back and see how God carried us through our faith and trust in Him grows even stronger and surer until finally we learn that He truly is FAITHFUL in every circumstance and THAT'S what keeps the grey hair away. His yoke is easy; His burden is light the Bible tells us, so let HIM carry the Lord, hey?! Blessings on you!

Jobina, that's one of my favorite songs! It really reminded me to trust God that He will provide the answers in His perfect timing.

Mom, great words in that song! I loved reading them!

Ollie, your story is a perfect example of God's timing and His faithfulness to those who love Him. He was faithful in answering your prayers for healing and His timing brought you back to Him. Bless you a million times over, girl!
