...My walk across the room

I've been wanting to do this for a long time and tonight I finally took the plunge to set up my own Blog!  For the most part I consider myself to be a rather private individual and yet I seem to sense this desire within myself to make contact with whoever is out there and share whatever I have to share about my life's journey.  I will give it a try.  It is my way of 'walking across the room' to your corner of the world and starting a conversation just to see what might become of it!  Right now, it feels like I'm in a very big room and therefore this start is quite enough for tonight!

May this be an inviting space to be!

Welcome to the world of blogging. It will certainly be a journey for you, as it has been for me. I look forward to "walking across the room" and meeting you at your posts!

Congratulations, your first post!

Good morning Mom!!! How nice that I get to wake up to thoughts from you. I am truly blessed with a Mom who has wonderful things to share with me. I can't wait to see what you come up with next!

I love you!

Hey everyone....I am so encouraged by all of your comments! Thank you so much Stacey, Jobina, Michele, Nicki, Mark and Renita!
Nicki that is an awesome story about your friend John. It reminds me of that saying about people coming into our lives for a season. It sounds to me like John came into your life at just the right time for you AND for himself. And yes, I think you should blog too!

I came here through Jobina's blog and then realised that it was her mom when I read the comments. It is so nice to be able to get to know people through their blogs and I love how you compared it to walking across the room to get to know people.
I am looking forward to reading more!

Hi Rayna,
Nice meeting you here! I'm really excited about this new venture and look forward to getting into it more in the New Year. Until then you will probably find me mostly silent...although I never stay silent for long!
